A visual artist and member of the Rome-based interdisciplinary collective Atisuffix, he has pursued over 20 years of contemporary art projects, theater performances,
short film productions, and applied art projects through the creative platform 6roads.com.
He attended the Orneraki School from 1998 to 2000, worked as a theater and film set design assistant in Athens before moving to Milan in 2004, where he graduated from Alberto Garruti’s contemporary art workshop at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.
His work encompasses sketches, paintings, visual and interactive installations, and even ready-made sculptures, rediscovering ancient or even modern objects that have lost their original quality. With references to history and existing archival material in the form of photography, video, or written credentials, he creates images that transcend the confines of narrative, projecting form and composition as an experience beyond the confines of signifier and meaning. Characteristic of his approach to the various works is satire or critical perception.
