Panagiotis Samsarelos

Visual creator and member of the interdisciplinary collective Atisuffix based in Rome, he follows a path of over 20 years in contemporary art projects, theatrical performances short film productions as well as applied art projects through the creative platform 6roads.com

 

His work differs from sketching, painting, visual and interactive installations, but also ready made sculpture, discovering old or even modern objects that lose their original quality. With references to history and that archival material exists either in the form of photography, video or written credentials, he creates images that transcend the boundaries of narrative, projecting form and composition as an experience that is not limited to the boundaries of signifier and signified.

 

Characteristic of his approach to the various works is satire or even critical perception.
